Genesis's large luxury sedan; the Hyundai luxury brand's direct rival to the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. Facelifted in 2024 and also offered in an electric version (Electrified G80) from 2022. Suits an executive who wants a large, fully equipped luxury sedan for less than the Germans and is not attached to an established badge. The model earned 5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash test with high sub-scores: 91% adult protection, 87% child protection, 91% safety systems. Local testing of the 2.5 turbo version measured 10.7 km/L in real driving.
